Gold Cup Qualifiers

Format 501 best of 7 legs for singles and pairs

4 x Men’s singles qualifiers             entry £10

2 x Men’s pairs qualifiers                entry £10 per pair

2 x Ladies singles qualifiers             entry £8

1 x Ladies pairs qualifiers                entry £8 per pair

Qualifiers will represent Cheshire at Gold Cup finals 30th June 2018 at the MAGNA CENTRE

Format Men’s     501 best of 3 sets, best of 3 legs

Format Ladies     501 best of 7 legs

4 x Men’s singles qualifiers         entry £10

Qualifiers will go through to next regional stage on 12th August 2018 at SWINTON POOL HALL

Format Men’s     501 best of 3 sets, best of 5 legs

Format Ladies    501 best of 7 legs

1 x Men’s singles qualifiers        entry £10

Qualifiers will go through to finals stage on 3rd October at Bridlington.

N.B qualifying criteria has changed for this season.

Top 128 ranked Men as per BDO ranking table as of 30th August 2018 will automatically receive an entry to both Winmau Playoffs and Lakeside Playoffs.

Top 64 ranked Ladies as per BDO ranking table as of 30th August 2018 will automatically receive an entry to both Winmau Playoffs and Lakeside Playoffs.

Players qualifying for Winmau Playoffs on June 2nd from Cheshire will automatically receive an entry into the Lakeside Playoffs.

The top 20 Men as ranked in the final county overall average table receive automatic entry into both Winmau and Lakeside Playoffs.

The top 20 Ladies as ranked in the final county overall average table receive automatic entry into both Winmau and Lakeside Playoffs.

Men winning 9/9 county fixtures for season will automatically receive entry into both Winmau and Lakeside Playoffs.

Ladies winning 9/9 county fixtures for season will automatically receive entry into both Winmau and Lakeside Playoffs.

Whilst some players may qualify for invitation to the Winmau via more than one category, players can only accept one invitation to participate regardless of how many categories qualified from with no substitute players occupying any duplicate entries.

(I.e. Cheshire winmau qualifier also holds a top 128 ranked men’s position, the runner up at the Cheshire Winmau qualifier could not accept entry on behalf of the winner. Once an entry has been occupied by a player, this cannot be forfeited to another.)
