Jamie announced that the Coppenhall ‘B’ won the Mens superleague with runners up being the Railway. Hotels & Transport Secretary’s Report – Elaine Webb The county suffered losses in revenue this season due to non attendees, and extortionate costs for hotels. The transport has proved too expensive, and as a county we cant continue to support a mini bus or coach at this time. Elaine asked everyone if they were happy with the hotels that had been chosen, everyone there confirmed that they had no issues with anything, no reports from the Hotels regarding any misbehaviour from county. Elaine reported that due to having to pay hotels up front 28 days before county attend, it causes massive loss, as players change their minds on staying. General Secretary’s Report – Andrea Davis This season proved a mixed bag, pleased to report that all signing on sheets were sent in on time, and did not get any disciplinary measures from the UKDA. Thanked everyone for the season. Treasurer’s Report – Lyn Marsden Lyn reported that all superleague fees were paid up, and nothing owing for the season. County made a small profit from the Cheshire Open this year, good turnout of players, and always get good feedback. County made loss on the hotels. Happy to report that The Coppenhall Club are happy to continue sponsoring Cheshire Darts, and to be their selected venue for the upcoming season. Chairperson’s Report – Michelle Wootton Michelle thanked everyone for their valued support and input during this season, It was her first season as Chairperson, and overall the transition was good. Michelle said that 23/24 season was a mixed season, due to various other competitions now in the darts calendar, which had an impact on players for county, from all counties, however, Cheshire finished in 7th place in the Andy Wheeler Fisheries Championship league.
